PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of installing a tube member, which can rigidly install a square stud as a tube member to be attached to a partition wall, for instance, from the side of the stud to the target object, facilitates installation, eliminates distortion of the stud, and dispenses with generation of an unnecessary gap between the stud and the target object. SOLUTION: A through hole 11 is formed in a peripheral wall. Then, the tube member 3 being annular in cross section is provided, which has an opening 12 for installing access, which is formed in the peripheral wall portion facing the through hole 11. Thus, access is made through the opening 12 for access from the interior of the tube 3 to the installing through hole 11, and the tube member 3 is installed on the side of the target object 8 by means of screws, for instance.
