PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood floor material free from inverse-arched warp, stable in dimension, familiar with a floor bed and superior in workability and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The wood floor material comprises a plurality of grooves formed in the reverse side of a wood floor material body, an elastic adhesive filled into the grooves, and a cushion material pasted to the reverse side of the wood floor material body to cover the plurality of grooves. The manufacture of the wood floor material comprises machining the plurality of grooves in the reverse side of the wood floor material body placed on a conveyor with a cutter, filling the elastic adhesive in the grooves with a coater or in a soaking method, and drying and hardening the same.
