摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake resisting wall structure which makes it easy to regulate horizontal rigidity to be optimum in terms of design and which abounds in an earthquake resisting performance and economics and enables improvement of the degree of freedom of architectural design. SOLUTION: In the earthquake resisting wall structure having frame posts 11 and wall bodies 31 integrated, a horizontal slit 33 is formed horizontally between the wall bodies of upper and lower stories so as to separate the wall bodies of the upper and lower stories, while a vertical slit 35 is formed in the boundary face between the frame post 11 and the wall body 31 by a prescribed length toward the upper or lower side of the wall body 31, in continuity to the horizontal slit 33. The frame post 11 forms a flexible part (hs) separated from the wall body 31, in an extent wherein the vertical slit is formed, and forms a rigid joining part (hr) integrated with the wall body 31 in the residual extent of the story height. The wall body 31 is constructed as a wall girder of a nonuniform section of which the vertical length of the rigid joining part in the lateral end is smaller than that of the intermediate part of the span, and the frame posts and the wall bodies constitute a frame structure as a whole.
