PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition plate type heat exchanger partition plates are integrated into one body by brazing. SOLUTION: A spacer main body 13 is placed on a lower side partition plate 7, protruding parts 14, 15 overlapping on extended parts 7A, 7B protruding from the partition plate 7 are arranged in the end part of the spacer main body 13. The partition plate 7' is supported by the upper part of the spacer main body 13, an upper level spacer main body 13 is placed on the partition plate 7', upper level protruding parts 14, 15 are arranged in the end part of the spacer main body 13 of the upper level so as to protrude from the partition plate 7' and to overlap on upper level extended parts 7'A, 7'B overlapped on the protruding parts 14, 15 as well. A groove 16 for brazing filler metal accommodation opened upward are formed in the spacer 12 and the upper level spacer 12, respectively, through holes 19, 20 are pierced in the groove 16 as well. At the state a brazing filler metal 21A is housed in the grooves 16 of the spacer 12 and the upper level spacer 12, the brazing filler metal 21A is fused.
