PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drill/chisel device provided with a drill/chisel tool having excellent abrasion resistance, and a tool holder matching the tool. SOLUTION: A cylindrical insertion end part 4 coupled with a shaft 2 is provided with at least one vertically long recess 5-8. A flange 3 is disposed between the shaft 2 and the insertion end part 4. The diameter of the cylindrical insertion end part 4 is set at 18 mm or more, or preferably, 22 mm or more. The recess 5-8 is extended to be perpendicular to a center axial line in a length direction of this tool 1, and it has an arc-shaped cross sectional surface which is enlarged toward an outer circumferential surface. |
