PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container in which a using material of a mouth cap is reduced, which is excellent in an external appearance and sanitary even in a resealed state. SOLUTION: Relating to a meal container 1 consisting of a cylindrical can body part 2, in which at least one side opening end part 3 is formed as a reduced part 7 gradually reducing the outer diameter, and a mouth cap 4 seamed to the reduced part 7, a mouth cap 4 is provided with a mouth neck part 40 engaging a sealing cap and a skirt wall 8 connected to one end part of the mouth neck part 40 and having an essentially truncated conical shape. Further, a double seamed part 11 to seam a skirt part of the skirt wall 8 and the opening end part 3 is folded/lapped on the outer face of the reduced part 7.
