PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based adhesive, especially two-pack type water- based adhesive which has excellent water resistance and which comprises a polychloroprene latex which user polyvinyl alcohol as an emulsifier, a base resin which contains a tackifying resin as an essential component and a curing agent which contains a melamine resin as an essential component. SOLUTION: The water-based adhesive, especially two pack type water-based adhesive comprises (A) a polychloroprene latex which is polymerized in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol and a carboxyl group-containing vinyl monomer, (B) a base resin which contains a tackifying resin and a curing agent which contains a melamine resin.
