PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery device for an internal combustion engine having a high waste heat recovering rate. SOLUTION: The waste heat recovery device for the internal combustion engine is provided with the internal combustion engine 1 and an evaporator 3 for leading exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 1 as a high temperature fluid. An exhaust gas leading port 19 of the evaporator 3 is disposed in the vicinity of an exhaust valve 10 of the internal combustion engine 1.
