PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant reinforcing device capable of reinforcing the connected condition of a foundation, sill, and a column and buffering foreward and rearward and lateral movements and swings and loads in these composite directions. SOLUTION: The earthquake-resistant reinforcing device A is installed at the side face of a wooden house and provided with a foundation fixing member 1a fixed to a foundation E and an upper fixing member 2a fixed from the front face side of an external wall H to a sill F and a column G. Both members are connected to each other through an elastic member 16 by a first connection part 4a and a second connection part 6a. The elastic member 16a is made of a rubber member 19 fixed to the front and rear metallic plates 17, 18 in this embodiment. A restraint part 10 is provided from the lower end of the second connection part 6a to the first connection part 4a side and reinforced by a rib 11 provided at the side face of the restraint part 10. A buffer member 12 made of rubber is installed at the upper face of the front end and confronted by the lower edge of the first connection part 4a through a distance.
