PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method of a tundish, with which oxygen concen tration in the tundish can be restrained to low and as a result of this, the oxy gen concentration in a produced steel slab can be restrained to low. SOLUTION: A ceramics fiber-made sealing material surrounding this circumference with a metallic foil, is interposed between the main body and the cover of the tundish.
