PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device for a vehicle with braking performance compatible with stability of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a braking control device which restricts braking force exerted to rear wheels compared with that exerted to front wheels, if deceleration d determined by deceleration determining means is not less than a predetermined value f(v) depending on a vehicle speed v determined by a vehicle speed determining means. The predetermined value f(v) is set to become smaller as the vehicle speed v is greater.
