PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject counter case designed to render the case body hard to be deformed despite making the case body thinner. SOLUTION: This counter case 4 for a double bearing reel which is mounted on the reel body 1 and intended to display the depth of a device, has a case body 30, a circuit board 31, a plurality of electrical parts 33 and a reinforcing element 36; wherein the case body 30 has an upper case element 40 provided with a wall surface 40b therearound so as to form a space inside and a lower case element 41 covering the tip opening of the wall surface 40b and is mounted on the reel body 1, the circuit board 31 is mounted inside the case body 30, a plurality of the electrical parts 33 include a liquid crystal display 32 intended for displaying depth and are mutually connected via the circuit board 31, and the reinforcing element 36 is embedded in at least part of the wall surface 40b.
