PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for molding a ceramic green sheet which can exhibit an appropriate strength of the ceramic green sheet and excels in thermal decomposability. SOLUTION: The binder for molding a ceramic green sheet comprises a polyvinyl butyral resin graft copolymerized with an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer.
