PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water basin cleaning device which can remove nitrogen with high efficiency and makes a large treatment capacity possible as well in spite of the low-cost and compact device. SOLUTION: This water basin cleaning device has an aerobic treating vessel 1 and an anaerobic treating vessel 11 and is so constituted that the intermediate treated water subjected to treatment in the aerobic treating vessel is supplied to the anaerobic treating vessel in parallel with the direct supply of the water to be treated which is taken in by a water-to-be-treated supply means from the water basic to be cleaned to each of the aerobic treating vessel and the anaerobic treating vessel.
