PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal seal capable of being used in a part where pressure and temperature are furiously changed. SOLUTION: This metal seal comprises a cylinder part 6 closely fitted into a hole part of a counterpart member and a stepped part 7 extended from a lower end of the cylinder part 6 in the direction of an outer diameter direction. The metal seal also comprises a compressive elastic wall part 8 with a tapered shape downwardly becoming wider in diameter from an outer peripheral end edge of the stepped part 7. An annular contacting part 9 line-contacting to a counterpart face is provided at a tip edge of the compressive elastic wall part.
