RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for tire tread improved in wet grip performance, improved in scorch stability and shortened in curing rate. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of at least one kind of diene-based rubber -50 to -20 deg.C in average glass transition temperature and 0.10-0.21 in the rate of double bonds in the total main chain bonds with 15-80 pts.wt. of silica and 0.2-2 pt(s).wt. of a thiuram-based compound of formula (1) (wherein, R1 is a 1-3C alkylene group; R2 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group; and R3 is a hydrocarbon group or hydrogen group).
