<p>This hydrothermal synthesis process comprises adding triethanolamine to the reaction gel formed from silicate and alumina components, and effecting crystallisation at an elevated temp. To produce an X-type zeolite, the molar ratio SiO2: Al2O3 should be about 1.7, and the amount of triethanolamine 80-120% with respect to the weight of solids components of the gel; the crystallisation is carried out at about 80 degrees C. for 7-8 hrs. for Y-type zeolite, the ratio SiO2: Al2O3 should be about 3; the triethanolamine amount 25-50%; the crystallisation temp. about 95 degrees C. and time about 10 hrs. By this method, high quality products are obtained in a short time.</p> |
