PURPOSE: A method for controlling an ignition of a vehicle is provided to perform the ignition control even when a shock is created in an engine caused by a sudden variation of an amount of intake air. CONSTITUTION: A rotation speed and an intake pressure of an engine are detected(S10). Then, it is determined whether the engine is in a shock state based on the rotation speed and the intake pressure of the engine(S20). If the engine is in the shock state, an ignition time is calculated based on the variation of the rotating speed of the engine so as to correct the ignition time(S30). Then, it is determined whether the shock state of the engine is corrected. If the shock state of the engine is being corrected(S40), the corrected ignition time is gradually returned to a normal ignition time by reducing the correcting value of the ignition time(S50). After that, the engine is controlled with the normal ignition time according to the rotating speed and intake pressure of the engine(S60).
