PURPOSE: A method for the aldol condensation and a use of the aldol condensation product, aldehydes, for the production of an alcohol or a carboxylic acid are provided, to enhance the selectivity, yield and purity of α,β-unsaturated aldehydes and to improve the stability of the material transfer between phases. CONSTITUTION: The aldol condensation reaction by a catalytic reaction using a multi-phase reaction in a tubular reactor is characterized in that the catalyst is included in the continuous phase, at least one kind of aldehyde is included in the disperse phase and the load factor B of the tubular reactor is greater than 0.8. Preferably the carbon number of the aldehyde is 1-15.
