PURPOSE: To provide a plastic cap which is easily and certainly removed from the mouth of a container on opening or disposal and prevents scores provided for removal from breaking when being crowned onto the mouth of the container. CONSTITUTION: In a cap which comprises a top plate having a seal-up part at its inside, a skirt part connected to the periphery of the top plate, an annular band positioned below through an annular score extending in the circumferential direction, and a tear-starting part and a guide part for tearing the annular band vertically, the tear-starting part has a notch connected to the annular score while the guide part has diagonal scores being at different levels and extending downward and in the tearing direction being almost in parallel, and the diagonal scores are formed of a principal score positioned above and an auxiliary score shorter than the principal score and positioned below, and a short run-preventing score extending in the circumferential direction is formed between the principal score and the auxiliary score.
