This invention relates to a constant velocity universal joint including a drive shaft, a driven shaft and means interconnecting the shafts for relative swinging movement of the axes of said shafts from 0 DEG to more than 90 DEG . Said means comprising two semi circular forks, a yoke carried on the adjacent end of each of said shafts, a bevel gear carried by each shaft within said fork, a ring mounted for rotation about a diameter of said ring that coincides with the diameter of an articulation of said forks, and pinion gears mounted to rotate on said ring and mesh with said bevel gears.
