COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING BURST MODE TRANSMISSION BY MULTIPLE LIGHT WAVELENGTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method and a system by which number of transmitters, utilizing a network capacity and a multi-point-single point optical network in common can easily be increased while avoiding optical crosstalk interference. SOLUTION: A central terminal 110 transmits a synchronizing signal to a remote terminal 112 and the remote terminal 112 transmits a burst data signal to the central terminal 110 in a passive optical network 114. A 1st group of the remote terminal 112 transmits burst data signal in respective time slots that is synchronized with a received synchronizing signal and multiplexed by a 1st light wavelength. A 2nd group of the remote terminal 112 transmits the burst data signal in respective time slots that is synchronized with a received synchronizing signal and multiplexed by a 2nd light wavelength.
