PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave video retrieval device which can retrieve an ultrasonic wave video that a user desires among ultrasonic wave videos which are previously stored in an ultrasonic wave video diagnosis system and displays the videos in order from the video which is most similar to the desired ultrasonic wave video as the result of retrieval and to provide an ultrasonic wave video transmission/reception system adopting the device. SOLUTION: Input means 11 and 15 inputting a keyword for selecting a retrieval object and the ultrasonic wave video, a feature extraction means 14 extracting the feature of the ultrasonic wave video inputted through the input means, a storage means 17 making many ultrasonic wave videos which are previously obtained, annotation information and video characteristic information with respect to the ultrasonic wave videos into a data base and storing it, a display means 19, and a control means 16 which executes control so that the ultrasonic wave video that is in the storage means in accordance with a similar degree by comparing it with annotation information and video characteristic information in the storage means is screen-outputted if the keyword is inputted from the input means and the feature is extracted by the feature extraction means are included. Thus, massive ultrasonic wave videos which are previously stored can efficiently be retrieved, and they are connected to the network of a Web server and the ultrasonic wave video can be retrieved. |
