PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia service system by which a portable terminal having a video phone function can suitably view multimedia on the Internet, a multimedia multiplex system on the Internet and a multimedia multiplex system on channel exchange can be efficiently converted and the multimedia data can properly be transmitted, and to provide a multimedia conversion server and a multimedia terminal. SOLUTION: This multimedia service system has servers, multimedia conversion servers and multimedia terminals, each multimedia conversion server accesses each server to acquire a HTML and multimedia contents, converts them into a form suitable for making communication with each multimedia terminal and retransmits them to each multimedia terminal. Each multimedia terminal displays the multimedia contents, in response to the acquired HTML. |
