SPR SENSOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel SPR sensor provided with an ultrafine SPR measuring plane capable of generating a desired surface plasmon resonance for measurement, focusing attention on the usefulness of forming a measuring plane by a surface plasmon resonance at the tip of a light guide core of an optical fiber. SOLUTION: The SPR sensor with the measuring plane by the surface plasmon resonance(SPR) formed at the tip of the light guide core of the optical fiber, comprising the measuring plane formed on a sharpened plane in the direction of the guided light, and a manufacturing method thereof.
