PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control device, capable of reducing the device and being miniaturized. SOLUTION: This device comprises a thermal electromotive force generation part 1 and a heat absorbing and heat generating part 2, provided adjacent to a predetermined plane of a temperature control object. The thermal electromotive force generation part 1 generates thermal electromotive force by the Seebeck effect with a temperature control object as the heat source. The absorption and heat generation part 2 is supplied with the thermal electromotive force from the thermal electromotive force generation part 1, and cools and heats on the temperature control object.
