PURPOSE: A power conversion device is provided to convert the power to the forward/reverse direction as occasion demands by a simple clutch operating method by an adjusting lever. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission unit(2) converts the power of a forward rotation shaft of a forward rotation gear(12) rotated forward by the decelerated power transmitted from a deceleration unit(1) and the power of a reverse rotation shaft of a reverse rotation gear. The selectively transmitting power from the power transmission unit is transmitted to a chain gear of rear wheels(8,8') through a power gear(4) and rotating the rear wheels and front wheels(9,9') connected with the rear wheels by a chain(6). A reverse rotation sprocket and a forward rotation sprocket connected by couplings(22,22',26,26') at the outside of clutch plates(21,21',24,24') are installed at the outside of clutch adjusting dies(20,20') selecting the power transmitted from the forward rotation shaft and the reverse rotation shaft. Thereby, transmitting the power by a rotation chain(29).
