PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call user's attention by clearly displaying that a device to which power is supplied from an attachable/detachable battery is being actuated. SOLUTION: An LED 30 is disposed at the end 14 on the bottom part side of the battery chamber of a battery lock 13 consisting of a flexible light transmitting member. Light emitted from the LED 30 is radiated to the end 15 on the aperture part side of the battery chamber of the battery lock 13. A character string 15a showing 'in the midst of writing' is formed on the surface of the end 15. The surface of the battery lock 13 except the character string 15a formed at the end 15 is wholly coated with light shielding paint. An engaging part 16 engaged with the battery housed in the battery chamber is integrally formed near the end 15. While image data photographed in a digital camera are recorded on a PC card, illuminating light is emitted toward the end 15 from the LED 30.
