SOLUTION: Concerning this sales supporting system, a sales proposal plan is prepared on the basis of a data base storing the article information of an article displayed on a gondola, and this sales proposal plan is displayed. Besides, the calendar of monthly promotions is prepared on the basis of the data base and displayed. Further, the master plan of annular or half-yearly promotions is prepared on the basis of the data base and displayed.
