<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for interrupting a power supply, while keeping the connection of a portable terminal to a server without the need for a gateway in the case of directly installing the TCP/IP to the portable terminal and to provide a recording medium, having its program recorded thereon. SOLUTION: A TCP monitor section 13 monitors all of connections 14 in operation under the TCP/IP protocol and informs a terminal application 11 about a notice which denotes that the power supply can be interrupted, if all the connections satisfy three conditions which are: 1) the transmission buffer of TCP is idle, 2) no Delayed ACK is in operation, 3) and the state of the TCP is not in any of SYN-RCVD/SYN-SENT/LAST-ACK/FIN-WAIT-1/CLOSING state. The terminal application 11 conducts processing of power supply interrupt, on the basis of this notice.</p> |
