PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finally and automatically store image data fetched from a plurality of image input devices as one document in a server. SOLUTION: An operating part 208 designates the transmission destination of image data fetched by a self-device for the server 101 or another image input device, a CPU 205 connects image data which are received by a communicating part 209 and transferred from any of other image input devices with image data fetched by a light receiving part 203, and the connected image data are transmitted to the transmission destination designated by the operating part 208.
