PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional optical reception circuit causing hindrance on optical transmission of an optical signal because an identification point (Vth) of a level of an electrical signal is adjusted after discriminating the occurrence of a transmission code error and optical signals received from the occurrence of the transmission code error, until as a result, the identification point (Vth) is adjusted are not in use. SOLUTION: An overhead interpretation section uses a B1 byte in an overhead included in an optical signal to detect an upper limit and a lower limit of an identification point at which a transmission code error takes place, and an arithmetic section automatically calculates optimum identification point, on the basis of the upper limit and the lower limit of the identification point and sets the identification point. |
