The method starts by cutting ice blocks from an ice deposit or an iceberg. Each ice block is then cut or drilled to attain a unit size which makes the ice block suitable for packing in a sealed container. The containers, containing the ice block forms, can be deemed suitable for distribution to the consumers. An Independent claim is also included for a drinking water processing apparatus which uses glacier ice.
