SOLUTION: Pixels disposed corresponding to respective intersections of plural scanning lines and plural data lines are turned ON or OFF in subfields sf1 to sf17 which are obtained by dividing a field in accordance with weight of gradation data (dcba) showing gradation of the pixels and, also, the reference time of the weight with respect to the gradation data is shifted for every scanning line and for every subfield.
