PURPOSE: A two-way variable throttle valve using a gear is provided to prevent the overload of the engine and to lengthen the life of an engine by increasing the open angle of the throttle valve according to the increase of an input amount when the input amount of an accelerator pedal suddenly increases. CONSTITUTION: A two-way variable throttle valve using a gear is composed of a first throttle valve(11) formed within the throttle valve body; a second throttle valve(12) having a larger diameter than the first throttle valve; a first gear(13) connected to an accelerator pedal and the first throttle valve, and adjusting the open angle of the first throttle valve by the operation of the accelerator pedal; a second gear(14) engaged with the first gear and having a smaller diameter than the first gear; and a third gear(15) connected to the second throttle valve and engaged with the second gear, adjusting the open angle of the second throttle valve, and having teeth of the same number as the first gear and a smaller diameter than the second gear.
