CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND COATED OBJECT MADE WITH THE SAME

A curable resin composition which comprises an ionically polymerizable epoxy compound having a viscosity at 25 DEG C of 1,000 cP or lower, an acrylic resin having ionically polymerizable functional groups, and a thermally activable ionic-polymerization catalyst which can be dissolved and precipitated by heating and cooling respectively. The curable resin composition has excellent storage stability and gives a cured coating film excellent in heat resistance, stain resistance, and fouling substance removability or in marring resistance, electrical insulating properties, etc. With this composition, an excellent coated object is obtained which has excellent properties including a reduced temperature dependence of volume resistivity. The composition is hence widely usable industrially.
