PURPOSE: A tray for collecting ink in a printer is provided to easily remove ink residue attached to the tray by conveniently releasing an auxiliary tray from a main tray. CONSTITUTION: An ink collecting tray of a printer comprises plural developing rollers(111a,112a,113a,114a) removing ink; plural brushes(201,202,203,204) collecting the ink removed by the developing rollers by being mounted on a lower portion of the developing rollers; plural drain holes(211h,212h,213h,214h) discharging the ink into ink collecting tanks(221,222,223,224); and plural auxiliary trays(311,312,313,314) removably mounted in main trays(311,312,313,314). The auxiliary trays are composed of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride. Thereby, the ink collecting tray of the printer removes the ink residue attached to the tray by conveniently releasing the auxiliary tray from the main tray.
