Circuit boards for equipping with electronic components are generally rigid and planar, but flexible circuits boards made of plastics material can be folded to provide a compact low space requirement board, allowing the individual equipping boards (12,14,16,18) to be folded over one another via the flexible hinge areas (22a-22c), without the hinging zones having to be pre-joined to the equipping boards in an additional manufacturing step. The equipping boards are made integrally with the hinging areas from one material.
