PURPOSE: A method for checking a No.7 signaling link in an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is provided to set and access a path from an ASS-7(Access Switching Subsystem for No.7 signaling) time switch through an INS(Interconnection Network Subsystem) space switch to an ASS-T(Access Switching Subsystem for trunks) time switch and to keep the signaling links alive for long time, so that an operator can easily catch where a signaling link down state is generated. CONSTITUTION: If an operator inputs a test execution command(ST1), an MSC checks the state of an ASP(Access Switching Processor) according to the inputted command(ST2). Then the MSC checks a signaling link and a link set(ST3,ST4). After checks the signaling link and the link set, the MSC checks a time slot(ST5). After checking the time slot, the MSC judges whether a test type inputted by the operator is a test for an ASS-7 time switch, an INS space switch or an ASS-T time switch(ST6). The MSC tests the ASS-7 time switch, the INS space switch or the ASS-T time switch according to the inputted test type(ST7-ST9). Then the MSC outputs a test result(ST10).
