The fitting is a flat elongated metal part with spring properties, which in the upright position will connect a frame side piece to a wall opening side piece. The bottom end of the fitting is shaped so that in the mounted position it will extend in a first plane along the outside of the frame side piece, and it can be secured to the frame side piece by a non-rotary joint. The top end of the fitting is shaped so that it can extend along the wall openings side piece in a second plane essentially parallel to the first plane. A middle section of the fitting extending at an angle between the top and bottom ends is used to receive a screw which is secured into the frame side piece in order to alter clamping force in the frame side piece direction. An Independent claim is also included for a door or window frame mounting and adjustment method using this fitting. |
