PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for positioning which enables execution of positioning with high accuracy without necessitating much time for regulation and a screen printing apparatus which has interchangeability of an NC program not only with another one of the same model, but also with one of a different model. SOLUTION: In the screen printing apparatus, a board 1 and a screen 15 are moved relatively and aligned in positions with a target position, according to a control program given from outside, and printing is made on the board 1 through the screen 15. The apparatus is provided with an offset memory 17 as a setting part wherein an offset amount necessary for aligning the board 1 and the screen 15 in positions with each other and making them approach the target position is set by executing the control program, and with a control part 13a which corrects the control by the offset amount read from the offset memory 17 and executes a position aligning control when the control program is executed. |
