PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a fishing rod capable of readily ensuring the strength of a reel seat and preventing electric erosion from occurring. SOLUTION: This fishing rod comprises a seat body at least partially made of a metal and the seat body is fixed on the rod body so that the site made of the metal does not touch the rod body in the fishing rod comprising a reel seat passing the rod body containing carbon therethrough and having the seat body fixed on the rod body and a movable member movable in the axial direction of the rod body so as to sandwich a leg part of the reel in the front and rear in cooperation with the seat body and fix the reel.
