PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing hollow fiber membranes which can prevent the internal inclusion of exothermic materials and may by easily manufactured by imparting hydrophilicity to the inside surfaces of the hollow fiber membrane while allowing the hydrophobic property of the outside surface thereof to remain. SOLUTION: A first spinning stock solution essentially consisting of a hydrophobic polymer and a second spinning stock solution prepared by incorporating a hydrophilic polymer into the first spinning stock solution are prepared. A core solution is discharged from a central discharge hole of a triple tube spinning mouthpiece 1 concentrically having the central discharge hole 3, a small- diameter annular discharge hole 4 and a large-diameter annular discharge hole 5, the second spinning stock solution from the small-diameter annular discharge hole and the first spinning stock solution from the large-diameter annular discharge hole, respectively. Both spinning stock solutions are solidified in a solidifying liquid, by which a hydrophobic layer is formed in an integrated state over the entire surface on the outer periphery of the hollow fiber-like hydrophilic layer.
