SOLUTION: The achievable hydraulic pressure level qutal is detected based on the detected input torque (S1002), the maximum value of the response characteristic (torque phase maximum inclination kDB2A) is map-retrieved from the input shaft number of revolution NM and the achievable hydraulic pressure level qutal (S1006), the actual value of the response characteristic (torque phase inclination kDB2B) is detected (S1008), the maximum value is compared with the actual value to determine the response characteristic (S1010, S1012, S1014), the hydraulic pressure quantity (the supply hydraulic pressure) on the ON (target stage) side is determined based thereon, and subtracted from the input torque to make the hydraulic pressure quantity of a clutch on the OFF (present stage) side.
