PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to reduce a cycle time of a metal sheet member even when buckling strength at a panel center part is increased, in a manufacturing method of the metal sheet member having a large area, in particular, a vehicle body constituting part for a vehicle made of a flat panel. SOLUTION: By pressing a flat panel from its one side while using a working medium 8 in a deforming tool 3, the panel is deformed to a preform 10 subjected to preliminary bulging, the preform taken out from the deforming tool is deformed to a final form 12 in an another deep drawing tool 11.
