1,257,405. Reactive metallized formazane dye. J. R. GEIGY A.G. 22 July, 1970 [23 July, 1969], No. 35601/70. Heading C4P. [Also in Division C2] A metallized formazane dyestuff is prepared by mixing 2 - hydrazino - 5 - sulphobenzoic acid with 5 - formyl - furan - 2 - sulphonic acid (see Division C2), adding a diazo suspension (obtained by diazotization of 6-acetylamino-2- aminophenol-4 sulpho acid) further reacting with aqueous copper sulphate, heating with aqueous sodium hydroxide and the dyestuff isolated. This can be condensed in aqueous solutions with 2,4,5,6-tetrachloropyrimidine or with 2,4-dichloropyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid chloride to obtain dyestuffs which dye cotton and regenerated cellulose in the presence of acidbinding agents in blue shades having a fastness to light and to wet processing.
|
