METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ANTIFOULING CLOTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an antifouling cloth by which a surface treating agent comprising a fluorine-based polymer emulsion as a principal agent can uniformly be applied to the whole cloth and fiber surface and the antifouling cloth resultantly has sufficient antifouling performances and water and oil repellent performances and an apparatus used for the method. SOLUTION: This method for producing the antifouling cloth comprises coating a cloth with a fluorine-based resin surface treating agent, drying the coated surface treating agent, carrying out heat treatment so as to stabilize the surface treating agent on cloth fibers and then brushing the cloth surface. The apparatus for producing the antifouling cloth comprises a brushing device equipped with a hot cylinder roll and a brushing roll which is located in contact with the hot cylinder roll when carrying out the operation of the apparatus for producing the antifouling cloth or further comprises the brushing device equipped with a dust collecting duct, a tiger roll and a bed part, the dust collecting duct installed above the tiger roll and the tiger roll and bed part installed so as to nip the cloth when performing the operation of the apparatus for producing the anifouling cloth.
