PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cane capable of informing car drivers and bicycle riders of presence of a cane and its user during his/her walking at night for preventing a traffic accident, detecting obstacles such as irregularities in the ground for preventing an injury, and informing an abnormal situation of the user, if any, to people around. SOLUTION: This cane comprises a cane main body comprising a hard pipe of a specified length, and a grip part connected to an upper end of the cane mainbody, a light guide hole for guiding light is formed at an upper part of the cane main body, a light emitting body is disposed inside the cane main body or grip part, and light from the light emitting body is guided through the light guide hole to the external, thereby existence of the cane and its user is informed.
