PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer material that can be mounted to a roof reinforcing body even after assembling or mounting into a cabin and is easy to mount. SOLUTION: The buffer material is mounted by winding to the outer periphery of a roll bar 103 constituting the roof reinforcing body, and molded in a shape in which a circumferential part of a cylindrical body is divided in an extrusive molding of an elastomer material. A dovetail-groove-like engaging groove 11 is formed in one edge 1a of the divided part, an engaging projection strip 12 engaging and mutually engageable with the engaging groove 11 is formed on the other edge 1b, and many buffer projections 13 contact with the outer peripheral surface of the roll bar 103 is formed on the inner periphery. The engaging groove 11, the engaging projection strip 12, and the buffer projections 13 extend in parallel in the extending direction of a roll bar pad 1. Each of the buffer projections 13 is formed in a shape in which the entire projection tiltingly projects to one circumferential side by tilting its side surface.
