PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration inhibitor for polyester resin, preventing the resin from when the polyester resin is molded at a high temperature of 260-320 deg.C. SOLUTION: This deterioration inhibitor for polyester resin comprises supporting a compound having an epoxy group on silica particles, wherein the epoxy group captures an acid or a hydroxyl group contained in the polyester resin so that the resin does not decompose even when the resin is allowed to stand in the high temperature of 260-320 deg.C, and therefore the deterioration of the polyester resin is inhibited.
